Guide data and operation

• An account is optional and uses Supabase authentication. It may store your email, identifier and profile details provided at registration.
• Favourites and trips stay in your browser and are not synchronised with your account. You can remove them on their respective pages or clear the site's storage.
• New subscriptions are suspended in this version. Previous newsletter records retain email, consent and confirmation or unsubscribe status. You can request their deletion by email; the unsubscribe page shows the available contact channel.
• New listing submissions are suspended. The editor and promotional kit work in your browser; data is only sent if you contact the person responsible. Partner listings retain the business's public information, private management contacts, photographs and permissions supplied. Private contacts are encrypted on the server and separated from the public listing. Publication requires review; you can withdraw your listing in your dashboard or request correction and deletion through the controller's contact. Inactive drafts are reviewed for deletion after 12 months. Publication and consent records needed to demonstrate permissions are reviewed after 24 months, unless a legal obligation or dispute applies. These periods require maintenance by the controller.
• Commercial updates by email or WhatsApp for partners depend on the optional preferences selected. You can withdraw permission by editing your listing or asking us to stop. Klaviyo is planned for email; it has not yet been connected to this version.
• The contact button opens your email or WhatsApp application. The guide does not send the message automatically. Information you send will be used to handle your request.
• With consent, Umami hosted on the guide's server records public pages, traffic sources and campaigns, approximate location (country, region and city where available), device and actions such as favourites, shares and opening contacts. We also measure active seconds while the page is visible, pausing after 60 seconds without interaction; we do not collect keystroke content, scroll positions or mouse movements. The IP address and browser generate anonymous identifiers renewed daily; Umami does not store the IP address. Hosting technical logs are handled separately. We do not send emails, phone numbers, accounts, notes, comments, searches or private trip identifiers. There is no session recording. Events are retained for 90 days with daily maintenance; private backups are kept for 7 days. Google Analytics is suspended. You can choose essential elements only or withdraw consent in your preferences.
• Website hosting, authentication, fonts, the map and forecast services use external providers. Their requests may generate technical logs needed to deliver the service.

Choices and requests

You can decline analytics and advertising options, or change your choice in the privacy preferences. For data held by the provider, contact the controller and explain your request. Retention periods, provider settings and any transfers depend on the processing involved and should be clarified by the controller. Contact them to find out which time limits apply to your request.
