1. Purpose
These terms govern use of the website guiageres.pt (adiante "Guia do Gerês"), um guia digital informativo dedicado ao Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês. Ao aceder ou utilizar o site, aceita integralmente estes termos.
2. Identification of the controller
Guia do Gerês is developed and operated by leconte.pt. For any enquiries, contact us through the contact.
3. Informational nature of the content
All information provided (trails, waterfalls, restaurants, accommodation, weather, alerts and itineraries) is solely informational and does not replace official information from ICNF, IPMA, GNR/Civil Protection or the establishments themselves.
Users are solely responsible for their safety in the mountains, checking opening times, prices and availability before travelling, and complying with National Park rules.
4. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Guia do Gerês and leconte.pt are not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from using or relying on the content, including, without limitation, trail accidents, weather changes, access closures or outdated information.

5. User accounts
Some features (favourites, reviews and trip planning) require an account. Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through their account. We undertake to apply reasonable security measures; see the Privacy Policy.
6. User content
When publishing reviews, comments or other content, you guarantee that it is lawful, truthful, non-offensive and does not infringe third-party rights. You grant Guia do Gerês a non-exclusive, free, worldwide licence to display it within the service. We reserve the right to remove content that breaches these terms or applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
All Guia do Gerês text, images, branding, design and code are owned by leconte.pt or its licensors and protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without written permission is prohibited.
8. External links
The website may link to third-party sites (accommodation, restaurants, ICNF). We do not control or endorse these sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
9. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The current version is published on this page, with its date shown at the top.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the court for the consumer's place of residence, where applicable, or the court of the district of Braga.
