Names that can be confused
Fecha de Barjas is the waterfall also called Tahiti, on the road between Ermida and Fafião. Pincães is near Pincães village, in Cabril, Montalegre. Do not use the two names interchangeably.
Choose by access
The Terras de Bouro portal identifies Arado, Leonte and Cascata de São Miguel at Portela do Homem. Check each place's listing and current restrictions. A point marked on a map does not confirm parking or a passable path.
Observe with care
Do not cross barriers or jump into pools. Water flow, depth and rock grip vary. Turn back if conditions are unsuitable for your group.
