More to discover

Let the water set the pace.

The Arado flows between granite blocks, drawing attention into the valley. From the bridge, stone steps lead up to the waterfall viewpoint. The visit's interest lies in more than the drop: it is the relationship between water, rock formations and surrounding vegetation.

Reaching it takes planning. Municipal tourism information mentions a final dirt-road section before the bridge; do not assume that every vehicle or every day allows the same access. The waterfall changes too: its flow can fall significantly during dry spells. Come to enjoy the landscape, then take advantage of nearby Ermida to discover the village that gives this side of the mountains its context.

Your visit, at your own pace

45 min – 1 h 15 suggested

Includes the short walk

The 45–75 minutes includes available walking access, the climb and observation. It is not a mountain trail.

Check the final access

The final section may be a dirt road. Check road conditions and leave your car only where permitted.

Observe without entering the water

The municipality advises against swimming and warns of serious accidents. Stay on the path; steps and wet granite require care.

Heavy rain can make ground and access unsuitable. A strong water flow is not guaranteed in summer. Choose according to conditions that day.
